About Jeremy Olson

A lifelong love of impossible worlds, tabletop chaos, chosen family, and the strange courage it takes to become yourself.

Jeremy Olson

Stories were always the way in.

Jeremy Olson is a fantasy author, Game Master, and lifelong lover of stories about magic, impossible choices, found family, and people becoming braver than they thought they could be.

Raised in New York City on comic books, manga, anime, turn-based role-playing games, and more hours of Final Fantasy than he should probably admit, Jeremy spent much of his adult life using storytelling in sales and marketing before finding his way back to creating stories for joy.

Tabletop role-playing games helped reignite that part of him, and he has been borderline obsessed ever since.

As a gay author, Jeremy is especially drawn to stories about chosen family, reinvention, and the courage it takes to become yourself without reducing queer characters to only their identity.

He now lives in Webster, New York, where he runs campaigns, tends a large vegetable garden, cooks whenever possible, and shares his home with his partner and their Basset hound/Beagle mix, Reggie.

No Heroes Are Coming is his debut novel and the first book in The Far Road Campaign.
